BGB EXHIBITING AT THE INTERNATIONAL HUSUM WIND EVENT: HUSUM (GERMANY) 18th - 22nd SEPTEMBER 2007

BGB Engineering Ltd will be exhibiting at the Leading International Wind Trade Fair event in Husum 18th – 22nd September 2007.  Held at the Messe Husum, our 24sq.m stand can be located in 3B50

When the Messe HUSUMwind opens its doors on September 18th 2007, tens of thousands of visitors and exhibitors will come to the town on the North Sea located in the North of Germany – and for a few days their number will exceed that of the local population.

BGB were the first slip ring manufacturers to design a dedicated wind turbine slip ring for hub control systems.  The Company is now a leading supplier in the development of slip ring solutions for this growing industry.

BGB remain at the forefront of turbine technology and work closely with major wind turbine manufacturers such as Vestas – NEG Micon (no1 in the Wind Turbine Market), Unison, Proven, Siemens, WinWind, Enercon, Suzlon, ABB, Hitachi, Mitsubishi and many more wind and non-wind International Companies. 

Products on view at the BGB stand will be:

• Hub control slip rings for both electrical and hydraulic pitch shift systems and Power supply systems (main shaft)
• Generator / frequency converter slip rings and brush holders (generator high speed shaft)
• Lightning defence brushes (main bearings and slewing rings) -
• A wireless Ethernet bridge system (Digilinc) that enables high speed data or video links to be transmitted across distances of up to 20km with line of sight
